Pino is an italian thorn bush and this dog is well equipped for moving through them, as well as all other types of terrain. It hunts in a diagonal pattern so that it is never far from the hunter. A stamina dog, it will work a full day pursuing either bird or game.
Very well suited for children, This is a gentle and social animal. It is wary of strangers, especially with children around to protect. Once it feels safe, it is calm but playful. They can get very vocal though, so apartment dwellers beware.
