The Whippet is the result of crossing Grey Hounds with Terriers. They are known for their rabbit killing skill. A sight hound, whippet racing is not as popular as greyhound racing, but just as brutal.
Quiet and immensely focused on the family, this dog is gentle with children, obedient with owners, calm indoors and ready to run outside. It cannot take rough treatment, either mental or physical.
