Both Salmon and Trout are the highest risk in fish as both carry neorickettsia helminthoeca which causes salmon poisoning disease and symptoms can take 5-7 days to abate. Cooking the fish through easily prevents this issue so as long as the fish is cooked, it is not a problem. Symptoms can include:
- Hyperthermia
- Hypothermia
- Abdominal Pain
- Vomiting
- Bright Yellow Diarrhea
