This is the plant we derive Ricin from so you should have a fair idea of how horribly toxic this one is right away.  The seeds are where all of the Ricin is stored and should have been disposed of by any reasonable expectation.  Even a small amount of glycoprotein ricin or the alkaloid ricicine will be deadly.  This is not a plant that dogs should ever be around.  Symptoms can include:

  • Loss of Appetite
  • Drooling
  • Abdominal Pain
  • Vomiting
  • Severe Bloody Diarrhea
  • Abdominal Straining
  • Abdominal Pain
  • Weakness
  • Trembling
  • Loss of Blood Pressure
  • Collapse
