Part of the Araceae family of plants that contain insoluble calcium oxalate. Chewing on this will cause pain and swelling to the areas that it touches. The tongue and lips can swell with little risk but if swallowed it can cause difficulty breathing due to the swelling. Symptoms can include:
- Drooling
- Oral Pain
- Pawing at the Mouth
- Shaking of the Head
- Vomiting
- Lack of Appetite
