A severely toxic form of Daphne, only a few leaves can cause neurological poisoning affecting the heart and other muscles. The neurotoxin is so toxic that it is also called Sheepkill because the grayanotoxins are so deadly. Symptoms can include:
- Drooling
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Arrhythmias
- Tremors
- Coma
