This is an inflammation of the large intestine and colon.  There are many causes for this; intestinal parasite, reaction to antibiotics, pancreatitis, eating the grass, as well as other options.  It can also be a symptom of another condition so it should be checked out.  While boxers are particularly prone to this, any breed can contract this disease.
