A dog’s body is made up of approximately 80% water.  When the fluids in a dog’s body reduce to the point that they cannot maintain that critical level of water, the dog is incapable of maintaining the normal biological functions.  Usually, this is occurs if the dog is denied water or is a symptom of either another condition.  A common cause of this is repeated diarrhea or vomiting.  Symptoms can include:

  • Exhaustion
  • Lethargy
  • Panting
  • Eyes Appear Sunken
  • Lack of Urination
  • Lack of Skin Elasticity
  • Dry Gums
  • Weak Elevated Heartrate
