2) Every dealer shall provide, at the time of sale, to the purchaser with the following information: Breeder’s name and address and if applicable, that of a broker as well as date of animal’s birth and location that the dealer received the animal and information of breed, sex, color, identifying marks, and, if applicable, the bloodline and record of inoculations and worming treatments and a medical history. The purchaser will also receive a statement that says that there are no known congenital or hereditary conditions in the animal and notification that dogs must be licensed in New York State.
4) Every dealer must place a notice near the cages of dogs that states that information on the source of the animals and full veterinary records are available for prospective buyers to examine.
